Tango 12
is name of official match ball of UEFA Euro Cup 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
The ball was officially presented on December 2, 2011, throughout the group draw for the final tournament in Kiev. UEFA count the Tango 12 as the fourth incarnation of the ball.
The ball is reportedly designed to be easier to dribble and control than its predecessor the Jabulani. Tango 12 uses a construction design based on the
Adidas Jabulani
but heavily modified, 32 - 2D panels instead of 8 - 3D panels.
The Adidas Tango 12 features a contemporary interpretation of the design as well as a colored outline impressed by the flags of the 2 host nations – Poland and Ukraine.
