U2 - RARE, UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL RATTLE & HUM PROMOTIONAL RECORD STORE FLOOR DISPLAY - WITH FREE SHIPPING IN THE US!
This is an unassembled, large cardboard promotional floor display sent from Paramount Pictures Corporation in 1988 to a record store to promote U2's Rattle & Hum motion picture. This item was intended to be used in-store to display copies of the 'then recently released' Rattle & Hum video cassettes and CDs, but was never used.
The display comes in the ORIGINAL BOX and has only been taken out of the box once to snap pictures for this listing - the display is in near mint condition.  Originally obtained in 1988 by the seller, the item has been housed in a clean, smoke-free environment for the last 33 years.
The display is mostly black-colored cardboard on the outside of the display with a colored image of the band that would sit on top of the display (as seen in the main photo).  It was a challenge to take decent photos of the item since most of it is just folded cardboard and in order to retain its original condition, I didn't want to unfold the pieces.  On the main photo - toward the bottom, left-hand corner, there is a dark coloration on one of the pieces - it's not a stain, but simply a shadow from the unprofessional photographer who took the photo (me).  Also included is a sheet that provides instructions on how to assemble the display - please note the sheet came wrinkled, but the display is in terrific condition.
Height:
Not entirely certain of the height as it's never been assembled, but imagine it would stand approx. 4-5 feet in height.  This isn't a display that sat on a counter near a cash register, but rather one intended to be displayed on the floor.

Approximately 8 lbs.

This is truly a rare, unique item and would make a great addition to any serious U2 fan's collection.
